When you walked through the double doors of this dated Dog River home, the first thing you hit was an awkward, cramped shower, a funky vanity, and an old, jetted tub that choked the layout. Since this beautiful property sits right on one of Mobile's premier riverways leading to the Gulf, the homeowners wanted a high-end, open-concept bathroom to match their coastal lifestyle.
MAKO Services completely gutted the space, transforming it into a bright, airy retreat. We swapped the layouts—installing a massive, seamless zero-entry walk-in shower with glass-topped pony walls under the natural light of the existing window and placing a stunning freestanding tub with a floor-mounted filler where the old shower used to be. To tie the whole look together, we wrapped the entire room in crisp wall-to-wall shiplap for that ultimate coastal elegance, laid down a striking Kasbah Amber Grey and Bone Cross mosaic tile floor, and installed dual custom vanities topped with premium quartz. Complete with modern wafer lighting and high-end fixtures, it’s now the open, luxurious haven these homeowners deserved. Budget $75k-$85K.
