Bryan Hodges, President, Mako Services, LLC.

At Mako Services, we believe that your home should be as functional as it is beautiful. Our founder, Bryan, built this company on a foundation of precision and reliability, traits he honed during a decade-long career as a catastrophe insurance adjuster. Spending years navigating the complexities of storm damage across the Midwest taught him how to assess structural integrity—and how to identify exactly what a home needs to stand the test of time.

During those years of travel, Bryan’s family would often join him on the road. From exploring the historic sites of Chicago to taking in games at iconic football stadiums and visiting theme parks in Wisconsin, those experiences taught him the value of family time and the importance of having a place to call home. Eventually, the desire for a permanent home life brought him back to the Eastern Shore.

Upon settling down, Bryan helped manage a large property management firm representing over 50 associations. He quickly noticed a recurring frustration: homeowners couldn't find anyone reliable to handle the smaller, necessary repairs. He began taking on those tasks himself, and his reputation for quality work grew quickly. Soon, he was securing contracts with the world’s largest homebuilder to handle complex warranty repairs.

While the repair work kept him busy, Bryan’s true passion was always remodeling. He eventually transitioned Mako Services to focus on what he loves most: breathing new life into homes through custom kitchen, bathroom, and whole-house renovations.

When he isn’t on a job site, you’ll likely find Bryan training at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy or enjoying time with his family. Whether it’s hitting the slopes in Colorado with his wife of 26 years or escaping to the beaches of Seaside in the fall, Bryan is a firm believer in working hard so you can enjoy the moments that matter. He is a proud father of two adult children who are now off making their own mark as productive citizens, and he is rarely found without his three constant companions: his two miniature long-haired Dachshunds and their spirited Chihuahua mix.

At Mako Services, we treat your home with the same care and attention we put into our own. We would love the opportunity to speak with you about your vision and bring your project to life.
